What a lovely large cottage. Enough space for a large group of people/family All the rooms are very specious so you can relax in your own room too. It is set in a stunning location with a lovely hour and a half walk up the hill and back. Also it has a large green grass area for the kids to play games . And for us adults to have a drink and do abit of star gazing. Would definitely recommend it 5 stars from us. Christmas in October.

We stayed here as a group of 21 adults and children for a 40th birthday celebration and what a fantastic time we had. |We arrived at the property to be greeted by the owners and shown around the house . Each bedroom was fantastic and had plenty of space. The ensuite bathrooms in all rooms was fantastic as were the TVs and sofas so we could all go to our own rooms and chill out if we felt like it. The large lounge and dining room were brilliant and fit us all in comfortably. The kitchen was quite small but as long as there's only a few in there at a time was fine it just got a bit crowded with all the adults fetching drinks etc. The house had a log burner with opportunity to buy logs from the owners but we didn't use it once. The house was so warm and cosy and the heated floor helped as did the amount of people together I would imagine. ||We read on the reviews before we went that there was a pub in walking distance down the road and with a bit of advice we found it. It was actually a hotel bar but they were very accommodating even with our smaller children running riot! They even managed to book us a Table the next night for a meal which was lovely. ||The house grounds were lovely and I imagine in the summer are fab for BBQ s and entertaining outside but unfortunately it was winter so cold and rainy. This did not stop us having fun though. We were worried the kids would be bored as there is no wifi so we took board games and didn't even need them. All the kids from age 3 - 14 loved playing hide and seek and they were entertained for hours. |All in all a lovely house well worth a visit. The only thing it needs now is a hot tub!!! 😃

We stayed here in November and it was fantastic. We had a large group with 8 couples and 7 kids and the accommodation was ideal. With a group this size it was so nice everyone got a good sized double room with ensuite, so no one got the raw end of the deal.||The living and dining areas were great, and the utility was really useful. The kitchen was small but functional.||Outside the parking was huge, as was the garden.||||A fantastic place full of character that we will definitely use again.
