The last of the quality butchers. Every town should have an old school butchers shop like this. Got some amazing produce here today, absolute quality.
This is a single floor traditional style butchers, who welcomed us in with our dog. We needed a joint for a Sunday roast, and all the staff joined in to help us. They were all friendly, knowledgeable, and very helpful. They offer a wide range of meat and meat related products, as well as some jams, sauces, and other items. We also picked up some beef dripping for roast potatoes. I was so impressed with the service, I came back later the same day to get a steak and was served just as quickly and efficiently even though I was only buying a single steak. I cannot recommend them highly enough.
I was staying in the area and popped in before driving back to London. I’m so glad I did. The service was great, they went above and beyond as well as being extremely friendly. I bought some rump and ribeye steaks, the flavour was exceptional, really good quality and good to know it was sourced locally. I’ll definitely be back if I’m in the area again
