Customer Reviews
Super friendly cafe with a great menu selection. The scones & cakes are always homemade & fresh & delicious.
£12.50 for probably the worst “full English” I’ve ever eaten in my life. 3 strips of thin turkey bacon which didn’t equal one normal rasher, one fried egg, 2 horrid low quality sausages which resembled a walls sausage. Toast wasn’t even toasted, tomato didn’t arrive for any of us even though it was supposed to be included. 5 of us got this breakfast and not a single one of us was happy with it. We will never be back, terrible quality and value for money. Service lady was lovely, can’t fault her.
Food was technically edible, but overall a disappointment and poor value for money. £12.50 bought three very underwhelming rashers of (what I assume to be) turkey bacon, no tomato despite it being advertised on the menu, and toast that seemed to have only briefly considered being warm. To top it off, there was one lonely, overdone fried egg that felt completely out of place rather than a welcome addition. For the price, I expected at least a bit more care in execution. That said, our waitress was lovely and was friendly throughout. Unfortunately, good service can’t fully make up for disappointing food. Save yourself the trouble, you’d probably be happier heading to a Spoons instead.
