Lovely little quaint cafe that we discovered for breakfast. Set back off the main road, great little find (been visiting Cockermouth for 6 years and never knew it was there) Friendly attentive staff and delicious food. Bought a cakeaway, so tasty! Will be back again.
Walked from Brigham to Cockermouth, had a walk round and decided to call somewhere for a bite to eat. Found this lovely little gem of a place. Food excellent, service quick, polite and very efficient. Came away with some homemade cakes for us to have later on with a brew. This place is excellent value for money and you wont be disappointed. Will definitely be calling back in whenever we revisit Cockermouth.
Used to go here until certain staff member started. Very abrupt when we came in and were told to sit on this table or no table at all. Noticed other tables were available. I had to get a chair whilst we were outside for my mam who has COPD and after being sat down she ran outside and put the chair back in a huff. I haven’t been back since. Really terrible attitude and then others walked in and just sat anywhere and nothing was said? I feel like front of house has gone right off.
