About
A traditional pub with karaoke nights, this spot is known for its regular live singing sessions. The landlady is mentioned by name in reviews, and the bar serves cheap beer. Patrons describe it as a place where people gather to sing, with some regular performers becoming local characters. The karaoke runs on weekends, and there are mentions of a welcoming crowd.
Customer Reviews
Really don't know how this got to 4 stars. A dive and then some. Nice enough greeting from the landlady (?) but the place smells old, the decor is so old it is probably classed as antique but without the value and the clientelle look like the contents of a Jeremy Kyle waiting room. Horse racing on both screens and all the men with betting slips on the table. Nice to know my tax going towards their obvious dole money is being spent 'wisely'. The women seem to be the loudest as if fighting to be heard the most. Not a place I will be visiting again.
This was the only pub we could find before going to see Think Floyd but it was awful, dirty table's, dark, no seats, hand dryer or hand towels in the ladies toilet, obviously only Sayed for the one drink and won't be going back.
Hmmm, very good customer service. Shame about the other clientele who were slightly intoxicated and sweary, not recommended for a relaxing beverage but yes for cheap beer with nice staff
