Went in with a full head of hair and came out with more ventilation than I asked for. Requested a simple short back and sides (number 3 guard) but now I’m sporting an exclusive bald patch just above the right temple. Picasso would’ve been proud of the asymmetry. To be fair, the butcher was a lovely man… allegedly a barber, anyway. No mirror to show the sides or back, no brush (just a well-worn comb), and not a single hairdryer in sight. I foolishly believed in this Gents ability by referencing his plentiful under 14s queue — turns out I was in fact, the fool! Consider this your public service announcement: enter at your own peril. It cost me £20 and a temple’s worth of hair.
These guys wouldn’t even be good at sheering a sheep. Asked for a half fade and came out with a god knows what on my head.
Great place and friendly. Great haircuts on top of that. Had both haircuts and beard trim and both were excellent. Cant ask for more.
