Kwik Fit - Workington

I visited this garage a few days ago and was assisted by a gentleman named Boyd. Although I have limited knowledge about cars, he was extremely helpful, took the time to explain everything clearly, and never made me feel as though I was being taken advantage of. His professionalism and approachability made the entire experience very comfortable, and I felt confident in the service I received and I will be returning to this garage.

Booked online over two weeks prior, only to be told there was no record in the system regarding my brakes appointment. Then came that depressing impass, where as a potential customer you're trying to impress the fact you've moved life around to be there (for a booking I had a screen shot of) whilst the bloke at the computer is attempting to be as helpful as a marshmallow oven glove. I will put my hand up (hence, two stars) and admit a potential error on my part, as I was informed "this happens quite often". A statement which only begs the following questions "why?" "What are you doing to resolve it" and "How is that then my problem"? Well, as you've probably guessed: no resolution. Yes, I know, first world problems and all that. However, after this I'll be looking to rebook my vehicle somewhere else and most likely ensure I tell everyone bored enough to listen how absent the service quality is here.

Had tyre that kept losing pressure with no obvious cause. Staff were very knowledgeable found problem was with tyre rim, showed us a video they had done on the whereabouts rim was leaking, which I thought was as a brilliant idea. Staff explained damage was to big to repair needed a refurb. I was extremely happy with the quality, professional and knowledgeable service I received, would definitely recommend and use Kwik fit again 10 out of 10.
