Regular visitor for Workington Comets Speedway, like many facilities of this sort of vintage the buildings are showing their age, however all of the amenities work and are clean apart from Speedway there is a yearly music festival held in the car park called Reboot. For Speedway or music its worth a visit.
Had a lovely time at Derwent Park. The staff were fantastic, the pitch good and the atmosphere great. Afterwards I drove 2 miles and photographed Scotland just across the bay.
Love the old place but definitely needs updating. Bring on a new stadium
