Really lovely woman runs it, proper community centre. I was up in Workington for a launch event and then I needed somewhere quiet to work in the afternoon before heading south. Booked over the phone. Was just what I needed, quiet space, access to kitchen facilities and super helpful and friendly. Yes outside needs painted and I'm sure if more people hire it that will generate funds to do that. Little shop as well for essentials.
Building is good for events has a small community shop. The building needs a regular cleaner and painted which would encourage more people to hire it out.
Cracker community centre, ideal to hire out a number of rooms with very reasonable rates. Staff are excellent, very friendly and well organised. Lovely place.
