I'm a carer and was looking for somewhere to stay after a nightshift?I rang all the hotels but they all said I would have to pay for 2 nights with being in bed till 3pm. Christine and her husband went out of their way to make sure the room was sorted for 8am on my arrival 😀 I couldn't of asked to feel more welcome and can't thank them both enough 😀 Look forward to seeing you both soon. This place is a little gem hidden away in a little square off the main thoroughfare.||An old house with lots of wooden panelling makes you think you have stepped back in time.Rooms are large and comfortable but not en-suite which some people might find annoying.But the private bathroom is clean and tidy and close to room.||Breakfast is very filling and this makes for a great place to stay and great value for money.
Charming historic building with a very well run bed & breakfast. Everything was very clean and the service was exceptional. We also enjoyed the freshly prepared British breakfast. If I ever come to Workington again, I will stay here.
