The range of clothes and homewares appears to cater for most age groups and styles. This store itself is fairly modern, well laid out with plenty of free parking. Prices are reasonable if not a lot more realistic than some places. Plenty of offers and good value on hand for customers. Staff seemed friendly and helpful. There seems to be an ongoing sale on reduced last season clothes. It's worth joining their loyalty scheme to save money here particularly if you are are a regular shopper. I can't fault the store really, the staff are what make the difference.
Went to a local Matalan store recently and picked up over £200 worth of goods as I had a 20% off voucher but when I got to the till was told I could only use it against items that were not for sale . So I put most of them back and ended up spending less than £18. Their loss
It has a good selection of clothing and a nice homeware section. There is also self checkout or a manned checkout desk.
