About
This cafe serves a varied menu including brunch dishes like fried eggs and quiche, as well as daily specials such as pie with mash or chips. There is plentiful seating, including a conservatory area, and the space features a robot that has drawn attention. The menu changes from time to time, with some dishes unavailable on occasion.
Customer Reviews
Very poor experience here. Due to them not having so many items from their menu, I had to have my second choice and my wife had to have her third choice. When my big brunch came it looked very sad - fried eggs over-cooked, beans looked like they’d been scraped from the bottom of the pan, and feels like they were scrimping on the other ingredients and just filling the plate up with chips. Two of our glasses/cups also had lipstick marks on them so not properly clean. Wouldn’t come back - it’s supermarket cafe quality but double the price.
Ordered the quiche special which was on the hot plate however when it arrived 45 mins later it had clearly been microwave as the egg filling was like eating a sponge. Not enjoyable after hearing great things . Wish I'd had the pie or fish as looked delicious.
'The place to eat in Whitehaven'. Spacious, plentiful seating and varied menu. Only 1 toilet shared between babies and disabled and ladies toilets not up to the usual standard in the post Christmas break. Maybe the scenic view / balcony may of been better built facing the harbour but hey that's a big change! All in all they manage to put a service on and provide a resilient business for West Cumbria folk.
