Very poor to hear I couldn’t have the table down by the bar where I could call in to see my two girls in soft play, got stuck at the furthest point from it. I was told they didn’t want kids in the bar when no one was at the bar anyway? (12- 15 on sat)And I’ve seen many times people down there with children! My girls spend most the time in soft play anyway and sit with there tablets when eating, in and out! I’m guessing you only facilitate for certain people, which is fair enough, but no one was even at the bar!! Poor effort like , come in a lot anorl.
They were prepared to seat 11 of us with no notice at all and bring our dogs along (it was very difficult to find a restaurant that will accept dogs, something that can be a problem if you are from out of town). The service was great with friendly and helpful staff. Plenty of delicious meals to choose from and the portion sizes was huge! Everyone struggled to finish their food. Absolutely delicious! Very pleasantly surprised! They also have their own private parking which was not on the road.
Generous portions and very good service. The mixed grill is huge and my wife donated her black pudding. They even have a draught beer in the pub's name. The only problem is that they have a small car park.
