The venue includes a good-quality projection screen with HDMI ports, making it suitable for presentations or screenings. Rooms are clean and well-proportioned, providing a comfortable stay. The staff are known for being accommodating, and the club has hosted everything from christenings to live music over the years. Situated on the outskirts of Whitehaven, it has ample parking.

The place is a calm oasis next to a road (busy at rush hour only ). The spotlessly clean and well proportioned rooms provided a welcoming rest after a busy training course. The owner takes every care to provide to your allergy and dietary needs. A lovely surprise when an experience exceeds your expectations for the financial payment charged for the room. The original beautiful Georgian features of the building have been sympathetically maintained, adding to the charm of this little Gem in such a historical city. I would definitely recommend a stay.
I have played at this venue since the late 80s when Alec was landlord. Mark in now running the club, which has been over-hauled to a high standard. Good quality projection screen with hdmi ports where they should be - on stage. This venue is ideal for christening and anniversaries.
Good local club, well kept and quality choice of drinks. Recommend highly.
