Been quite a while since I've been in this shop. Was in that part of town and had to try a sandwich. Was amazing. Very tastey. Fresh and salad was crisp. Sad thing was the cost. £6.40 each and I got 2 Coronation Chicken Baguette with salad. Yes they are hand made on the spot while you wait. Much better to see that they are fresh and not sat in a fridge all day in a plastic wrap. It's just the price. Still gets top marks. The best sandwichs I've had in a long time and they even beat my own homemade. Staff amazing. Had a nice chat. Totally recommended. I will be back to get more. Just hope they are a tiny bit cheaper.
Staff are lovely. I am a regular for my morning bacon or sausage butty. Superb. Best in Whitehaven by some margin.
