A brilliant deli with a huge menu! Today was my first time visiting The Lunchbox and the experience was a good one, I entered at around 12:50pm and there was only one customer in front of me. I had a quick look at the menu but I’d already decided what I wanted before going in (I looked at their menu on Foodhub first) I ordered the bacon, chorizo and pepperoni panini with mozzarella, along with a can of Dr Pepper and a slice, or should I say slab of old school sponge cake. The place filled up really quickly so I’m glad I got my order in when I did, no more than 3-4 minutes later I got my panini and was out of the shop. The lady who served me was friendly and very much on the ball even when the shop was filling up. There’s a wide range of cakes, snacks and drinks available here and the prices are very reasonable, highly recommend if you’re in the Whitehaven area and looking for something quick for lunch. My panini was cooked to perfection and tasted wonderful, plenty of flavour - this combination was on their specials and I would definitely have it again. The cake was also very nice, I just feel like there was a bit too much, I won’t take that away from them though because you could always save half for later!
Just polished off a gorgeous festive baguette. Stuffed to the brim with fillings and took less than 15 minutes to arrive. Ordered a cake too and its Huge 😍
Very nice food and always a queue. I won't be going again on my lunch as I don't have 15 minutes to wait and many colleagues feel the same way. Maybe more staff or order ahead needed?
