Car park it's self.is fine. What's not fine is finding out my payment for this was taken out twice I presented my card and the machine stated it cancelled it, no ticket came out for this so I re did the whole process again and that time it worked. So be weary of the machines here. The issue is I couldn't exactly leave the car with no ticket after the first "payment"
It's a car park. Free to those that have a local parking disc. If you don't have a disc ask in local shops or contact the council.
I've contacted local councillors several times about the state of this car park to no avail. Litter, Dog Fouling, damaged and out of date visitor map, broken lighting. It's a disgrace to Whitehaven and Copeland BC. God knows what visitors must think.
