I Visited Here on a Night out once with friends and it was a Good night with great atmosphere all around. I even tried singing on Karaoke and failed hehe but it had friendly people and one of the staff was more then great as he took a Big drink order, he had great customer service from start making us feel welcome. He even had a talk with our party why making the drinks and had a good talk with him after a Praise to him Anchor Who ever he is he was the tall one and was wearing a cap, we will definitely be visiting Again what a Great little pub.
Hi I called in with my friends on the weekend it was great to see a clean tidy and clearly well managed premises the landlord Michael was very friendly and made us all feel welcome the toilets were spotless and the staff were constantly working keeping on top of the glasses and wiping tables etc I’ve been a regular at the anchor on and off for over 12 years and I have never seen this standard of pure care the staff were fantastic and very well mannered we got a nice warm welcome from the door staff on entering the premises and the bouncer even came over to check we were all happy and felt safe me and my friends will defiantly be back here the place is amazing and we had a fantastic night we couldn’t fault anything well done Mike and team ❤️❤️
Under new managment, lovely folk, great service, smoking area with seating. smoking area last door on the left, lovely smelling nice clean gents the one before it. Smoking area not clearly marked but easy to find.
