The edge cage on a cold blustery New Year’s Day was very busy even after normal lunch service and yet the staff were excellent. Friendly and efficient and huge smiles on their faces even though they were rushed off their feet. A light airy cafe with lovely cake and sandwiches, hot and cold drinks. Dog biscuits and water set out by the tills for pawrents to help themselves to. Would highly recommend after a day walking the Whitehaven harbour. Thanks to Alice and her team.
Loved our stay. We weren't sure what to expect with the hotel having recently opened, but we were blown away with the standard of the rooms and the views. The staff were welcoming and the whole stay was relaxing. We stayed at the weekend so enjoyed the upstairs bar. The place feels a bit like a retreat as it is right by the sea but it's close enough to the town centre to explore the area on foot. Overall great experience and will be back when we can!
The Edge hotel is a unique shaped building situated in historic Whitehaven harbour. The car park is for residents staying at the hotel. There is a cafe, accessible WC, baby changing room. There is also facilities for conferencing. The cafe is dog friendly and they serve hot food until late.
