My partner and I stayed here for two nights. The hosts were lovely and very accommodating, the beds were very comfortable and the room was nice. Good location close to Whitehaven, car is needed to access the surrounding areas. Would definitely visit again!!
If ever you wanted a beautiful, stately English Guest House with welcoming hostess, this would be it. Set overlooking Whitehaven in an exclusive area, this gorgeous House had large, elegant rooms with comfortable beds, providing everything a traveller could want. The view from our room was of beautiful trees and a mature garden. A separate lounge room with comfortable lounges, lounge chairs, a TV, and a small fridge was available for the guests. English breakfast was in a separate, stately dining room and was more than you could eat ! Wish we could have stayed longer.
We had a fantastic stay. Loved the house - very clean, comfortable and peaceful. Set on a hill, whilst being surrounded by nature we could see the sea from our wi down. Had the best night's sleep and the loveliest breakfast. The staff were all attentive, friendly and helpful and couldn't do enough to make our stay a great one - from local walks to food recommendations. Great hospitality.
