I’m travelling alone to visit my brother and stopped into Giraffe for some coffee and porridge. The porridge arrived with banana on top, which I can’t have due to a long-standing sensitivity from childhood — let’s just say being fed an unripe green banana too young leaves its mark. I want to send a heartfelt thank you to the wonderful server, Alex. She was incredibly understanding, calm and genuinely helpful. Her kindness turned what could’ve been an awkward moment into a really positive experience. She’s an absolute credit to your company and represents your brand beautifully. The staff were lovely The food was awful. Crusty and dry gyoza, avo on toast that looked like you went to the supermarket, bought pre-made avocado dip and slapped it on some regular old toast. It's literally worse than if I made the exact same meal at home.
