About
A burger joint serving American-style fast food, known for its peanut oil fries and customisable burgers with toppings like bacon. The Cajun fries and Oreo milkshakes are mentioned, along with cheeseburgers and loaded fries. There’s a policy requiring a burger or hot dog purchase to order alcohol. The Piccadilly Gardens location is noted for quick service and freshly made food. Toilets have distinctive wall posters. Fries are described as salty and filling, while shakes come in flavours like banana and Oreo. Seating is limited.

Arrived with two goals in mind: the new loaded fries and a Hawkstone IPA. What I didn't realise was for some reason you have to buy a burger or hot dog to order alcohol. Seems like a strange policy reminiscent of the ludicrous "substantial meal" thing from covid days. Nevertheless I added a small hamburger. Lovely food as always although the cheese on the fries was much more orange sauce than cheese. Glad this place stocked a good beer and I would probably return for a burger and beer in future
Five Guys at Piccadilly Gardens is one of my favourite Five Guys locations - they do things right here, I’ve visited a couple of times now, and they always set a high standard of food and service quality - with fresh, hot food, friendly staff and good allergen handling. The central location within the city and late-night opening (until 11 pm and even 12 am on weekends) The interior is modern and comfortable, although I would like to see more tables; they do have a variety of seating, including high stools and booths The staff are very friendly, including the security, and are always happy to lend a hand. After making a staff member aware of my allergy, they’re always happy to hand me the allergen guide and answer any questions I may have. My go-to order right now is a Little Cheeseburger with Ketchup, Mustard, Fresh Onions and Tomatoes, with a little fries, the portion sizes are always good, with the food hot, seasoned well and tasty, while I’d love to see a gluten-free bun in the future, the lettuce wrap is a great alternative and means I can eat my burger like a burger, I like how this Five Guys in particular takes great effort to actually wrap it in the lettuce too, as some locations it can fall apart and you need to go back to using a knife and fork. That extra few seconds and care goes a long way. It’s my favourite place to grab a burger in the city right now. I know Five Guys gets a bit of stick for being expensive, but I don’t think this location is half bad, with my meal coming to £12.80. Sure, it is a little expensive for fast food, but if you think of it as a restaurant-quality burger, it is value for money, and I have paid a lot more for a bad burger elsewhere. I look forward to returning here in the future.
The food and drink were excellent. Very tasty, and very filling. The service was quick too, received both items in less than 10 minutes. Unfortunately, there wasn't a lot of seating provided, or even a suggestion of an overflow, so I had to go outside and find a bench.
