After the check in, I took the lift, walked thru nice corridors, and that’s all I could appreciate the hotel. |I didn’t expect a lot of social space but the Sterling bar was closed. The little Resident Lounge is hardly a place you can enjoy. Not to mention a lack of gym. |Still, the bathroom is above average. ||Also, after nearly two weeks, my stay is not added to my Bonvoy points. The efficiency is below expectations.
This must be Manchester’s best hotel. The design of the hotel, particularly the public areas, is stunning. The rooms are also done to a good standard. The service salad fantastic from the moment we arrived. We were given a friendly welcome and taken to the lounge for a complimentary glass of champagne while check-in was sorted. We arrived very early but were able to check-in straight away. The room was comfortable and not too loud despite the very central location. Breakfast was also a highlight. We will definitely stay at the Stock Exchange again when staying in Manchester.
Excellent location, friendly staff and very spacious suites. However, a bit more expensive than a comparable hotel in London. Also, the dine-in options are limited, but the options available are simply DELICIOUS. Suggest for hotel management to reconsider their cuisine offering..
