Customer Reviews
Wow can’t recommend this hotel enough I booked this room for my husbands big birthday as he’s a massive BrewDog lover. Communication was brilliant from booking as I booked through the hops and dreams offer on their website. On arrival 14:45 Callum welcomed us took our bags to our room and gave us a voucher for welcome drink, bar/ restaurant was full great atmosphere with great background music. My husband was over the moon as Callum up graded us to the captain’s suite as a birthday gift. Food was delicious and of corse the beer select was epic. Very quirky rooms spotless clean simba mattress and pillows nothing was too much trouble from all members of staff. Lovely little touches throughout our stay you guys made it really on to remember. Thanks Andrea & Kev Thompson x
Check out the full review over on the Youtube Channel Stayed 1 night in the Brewmaster Suite. I must say brewdog have nailed the hotel and know there audience. This isnt 5 star luxury but its a fantastic stay. For starters you get a free drink voucher per person and £15pp off a meal in the restaurant. When i stayed Octoberfest was still on and i also got an octoberfest free beer voucher as well. All in all i had a meal and 2 beers for £4.99! fantastic. The hotel also has a free water station and also a free pick and mix station as well. Room are comfortable and quirky, with neon signs, guitars, record players and plenty of beer inside. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was a decent size as well, everything in the room worked as it should. Would happily stay here again. Perfect if your on a special occasion, stag/hen do or even a business trip.
The rooms were fantastic, really cool, well thought out, and full of nice little touches. The shower beer and minibar drinks/snacks were a great bonus and made the stay feel that bit more special. One thing that genuinely stood out was how soft the water is here. Whether that’s standard for the area or due to a water softener, it was noticeably pleasant.||I also have to give huge praise to the bathroom products. I never usually use hotel provided shower gel, shampoo, or conditioner, but these were absolutely amazing. I’d honestly recommend travelling a bit lighter and leaving your own at home.||That said, the bathroom could benefit from a more detailed clean. There were some areas, particularly in the nooks and crannies of the panelling, where mould was noticeable and would be worth addressing.||Food was a mixed experience. Our first night was unfortunately disappointing. My burger bun was very dry and stale, and while my partner’s chicken wings were mostly fine, one was raw. The food sat quite heavy with us the next day. We decided to give it another chance and ordered from the Christmas menu on the following evening, which was a much better experience. I really enjoyed it and it was a big improvement on the first night.||Food wait times were slightly longer than average, around 20–30 minutes, which wasn’t a major issue but worth noting.||Service was a bit hit and miss. Some staff were excellent; friendly, welcoming, and especially patient and helpful when I was choosing drinks. Others, however, gave off slightly odd vibes and didn’t seem particularly comfortable to be there. At times it felt a little uncomfortable, though that may just come down to individual personalities.||Overall, a good stay with plenty to like and some clear areas that could be improved. I would recommend it and would return again in the future.
