I stayed here for a night and it had such lovely, wholesome local pub energy. The room was bright, very clean, and airy… exactly what you want after a long day. Ed and the rest of the team were genuine, courteous and attentive, creating a warm, easy atmosphere throughout my stay. Breakfast was great too, simple but done well. A really charming spot that gets the fundamentals right.
Me and my other half stayed here the night and we couldn’t fault our experience! Staff that work in the bar were all lovely and helpful & went above and beyond.. excellent costumer service!||Bedroom - perfect for the two of us. We stayed in one of the rooms at the top called ‘castle field. The shower takes a minute to warm up, but other than that the room was great. Bed was comfy, and can take snack/drinks from the bar up to your room! (I would recommend however pillow protectors on the beds) ||breakfast was exactly what we needed! very yummy and included in the price of out stay!! ||We will definitely be using this as our go to when we come to Manchester again. it’s only 10 min walks to the Christmas markets / city centre. The car park over the road (SIP CAR PARK) is a good price for 24 hours stay. ||Very ideal accommodation for couples wanting a little get away. Would 100% recommend. ||Thank you! |Katy & Oli x
This was the second time we stayed and again we were not disappointed. From check in to check out absolutely wonderful. Lovely clean room and bathroom. Great breakfast with huge menu to choose from. Kayleigh checked us and we felt so at ease we had a bottle of wine before we hit the Christmas 🎄 Markets. On checkout Kayleigh was so helpful to ensure I got to my partners car as I had recently had a moonboot removed. Waved us off till our next visit. Thankyou
