About

This multi-storey car park provides a practical and affordable option for city-centre parking, with ample space and convenient booking options. Payment can be made manually or through various apps, including RinGo and Pay By Phone. Its central location makes it a straightforward choice for visitors needing easy access to nearby areas. While the structure retains a functional design, it has also become a backdrop for urban photography due to its contrasting colours and distinct aesthetic. Regular deals are available for those booking in advance, adding to its accessibility for drivers.

The car park is well organised and conveniently located, with good pricing, especially when booking in advance. Overall, it is a practical and affordable option for parking in the city centre. The only area for improvement is the stairwell corridors. At times, homeless individuals stay there, which is understandable, as it is unfortunate that people do not always have access to suitable accommodation. However, the stairwells can smell of urine and are sometimes very unclean due to people urinating there, which makes using the stairs uncomfortable. Improved cleaning and monitoring of these areas would greatly enhance the overall experience.

Location wise its a great car park, lots of parking space. There is option to buy manual ticket or easy way to use one of the app to pay (RinGo, Pay By Phone etc - they accept couple of different apps). However, lots of negatives to consider: a) Ramps are too narrow for even a medium size car like Renult scenic b) Parking spaces are quite narrow c) Lifts do not work d) Stairs are dirty, smelly, grafiti ridden, and not to nice to bring youngstars e) and of course it's very expensive.

This classic style car park allows you to relive the nostalgia of the 1980s with stairwells that smell of urine. On my last visit, I saw someone asleep and a fresh human walnut whip outside a firmly locked door. Not for the faint hearted, a little bit snug on manoeuvring space but generally felt ok to leave a car for a while. The parking pay app will want all your details, history and biometrics but there is a ticket machine on the ground floor in keeping with the historic feel of the venue.
