About
A Thai restaurant serving street food-style dishes, with a menu that includes Pad Thai, Gang Panaeng, and crispy tiger prawns. There is a lunch deal with a soft drink, starter, and choice of main. The place has a Singha beer available. Some dishes, like the pork belly, have a rich, fatty flavour, while others, such as the basil stir-fry, are signature items. The concept aims to evoke the feel of a Thai night market. Staff members include someone named Euni.
Customer Reviews
Had a great time at Zaap! The service was top-notch, super friendly staff and we were seated right away. The atmosphere great too. The food was really good, we tried the Pad Thai, Gang Panaeng, &, of course, had to get the Mango Sticky Rice. Everything was tasty, & it's wheelchair accessible, which is always a plus.
I went out for lunch with my friends. Got the lunch deal, which was £15 for a soft drink, a starter, and a choice out of select dishes for your main. The options for the main were very limited, whilst their overall menu is extensive. I ordered the pad thai and it was disappointing, to say the least. It wasn’t a joy to eat. It was almost tasteless, very boring, and a chore to chew. Would rate it a 4/10. Not the worst I’ve ever had but definitely wouldn’t go back there for it again, nor would I recommend anyone order it. The starter I chose was the gyozas, which came in 3 and were the tiniest gyozas I’ve ever seen. Did not enjoy it either. So plain and tasteless. Only had one before calling it quits. My friends, on the other hand, ordered other dishes and really enjoyed their meals, so the rest of their menu seems to be worth ordering from. One other thing to note was that the crispy pork belly was not available so that eliminated some of the options from the menu and was a disappointment to us. It was 1:30pm on a Saturday when we came, and I had no idea if they ran out or just didn’t have any. They didn’t tell us until we pointed out dishes with crispy pork belly in them, and whilst I get it, I do wish we were warned beforehand. The take away from this experience is to not order anything off their lunch deal menu. It’s cheap for a reason. Service was fine. Friendly, no complaints. Worth going to, just do not get the pad thai.
The best Thai food in Manchester, so so close to Thailand and taste really authentic and just like Thai street food over in Thailand. Highly recommend and really lovely staff. We got served by a staff member called Eunice who was very friendly. Dessert was lovely, ordered mango sticky rice, dessert special and more. Highly highly recommend this place😍 will be returning back again very soon!!!
