Hidden gem place for tasty vietnamese food in Manchester. The place is located in a low key area of the city, easy access by walk. It’s been decorated in a deja-vu style, as if objects were gathered randomly overtime from Vietnam and displayed. I kinda like it. Music playlist was on track, only vietnamese songs. Staff is attentive and will make sure you get everything you need. BBH portion is so generous, lots of meat that have been well cooked. Taste is quite good compared to all the BBH i tried in the UK so far. £11 only, a bargain. We ordered their shrimp salad, flavour was great; although i wish it was actually papaya instead of salad. The nem were so delicious. That said, bun thit nuong was a miss; the marinate was made with char siu which is unusual in my opinion. i expected the usual lemongrass/soy sauce/fish sauce marinade. Overall, No wonder they got such high reviews and how busy they were already at 6pm on a Friday night. If i were living in Manchester permanently, i would go here every week 🤗
Recently checked out a Vietnamese restaurant on Oldham Road that a friend highly recommended, and wow, what a find! Tucked away from the main buzz, this spot delivers authentic flavours and warm hospitality that instantly make you feel at home. We ordered the rare beef pho, king prawn summer rolls, and pork spring rolls. Each dish was fresh, aromatic, and bursting with flavour. The service was attentive without being intrusive, the prices were more than reasonable (portion sizes were generous as hell) and the ambience struck the perfect balance between cosy and contemporary. I’ll definitely be back soon for my next pho fix 😋
A real ‘hidden gem’ away from the hustle and bustle. Was recommended this place, and it certainly lived up to its expectation. Authentic Vietnamese food which comes with very generous portion sizes, at very good prices (cheaper than the Christmas markets!). You also get free tea too - win, win! Will definitely be making a trip back there in the not so near distant future.
