About
A rock and metal-focused pub near the train station, this spot is known for its well-curated jukebox and regular live gigs. It serves a range of hand-pulled real ales, including options that steer clear of heavily hopped styles, and features homemade pizzas. There’s a smoking area outside, and the venue occasionally offers discounts. Payment is card-only, and the decor leans into its rock-inspired theme. Tickets for events are available on-site, making it a convenient stop for music fans.
Customer Reviews
Busy and loud even at 4.30pm on a Tuesday in mid October. This was a visit for nostalgia purposes, returning after almost 50 years. A good range of well kept beers and a range of homemade pizzas provided an interesting jog to the memory. It's also now a thriving live music venue ideally located close to Manchester universities.
Lovely pub on the outskirts of the city centre. Excellent music and great decor. Cash is not accepted.
Great rock bar. Itd get 5* if the music was a bit louder (but then you'd get people whinge it was too loud I suppose). Decent choice of beers I've not had the pizzas there yet, but lads on next table were saying they were great
