I recently stayed at Holiday Inn and had a really pleasant experience. The room was nice and spacious, giving me plenty of comfort throughout my stay. The hotel facilities were great as well, offering everything I needed. The breakfast was good, but it would’ve been even better if there were more vegetarian options available. Aside from that, everything was enjoyable. The view from the hotel was absolutely amazing and definitely one of the highlights of my stay. Overall, I had a lovely time and would consider staying here again.
First impression was sercurity on the door at 5pm on a Tuesday who had to let us in. Not a nice area. Check in was quick. Room was a fair size, clean but tired. Lots of carpet stains, and marks on the walls. Paint on top of paint. No phone signal and slow wifi. Bed was low and unstable, my feet were above my head when I lay on the bed. Went to reception who promptly changed my room to a twin room. Pretty much the same. Advertised rate was £248 wow hopefully my company didnt pay that. Couldnt stay there so left and booked into the Indigo. Never again.
Had the pleasure of staying here last weekend - the location is ideal and within walking distance to the city centre. The room was clean and beds were comfortable. Breakfast in the morning was the usual continental/hot breakfast. The real stars of the show are the team here who were pleasant, helpful and went above and beyond. To our delight and the delight of the other guests, when we arrived at breakfast Paul was dressed as Buddy the Elf greeting everyone - it was the most magical touch! Would definitely stay here again and Paul, if you’re reading this, we hope you had a lovely 60th 😊
