About
A budget hotel in a converted house, Manchester Stay Hotel provides basic accommodation with functional rooms that include kettles, fridges and desks. Some guests have found the staff polite and helpful, particularly during the booking process. Its location is convenient for public transport, with bus routes nearby. Rooms are described by some as clean, though the property has a dated feel.

Pulled up outside to see a paper phone number on the door. Thought id pulled up to a HMO. Have to say man friendly enough although didn't speak the best English. Corridor dusty and dirty. Steps aren't safe. Room cold floor tiles , cupboard doors falling off , dirty fridges x2 weird. Bed mattress dirty and bits all over, could feel every spring and frightened to get ro close to the edge as woukd roll off as its that worn. One pillow with no protectors. Decorated by a partially sized person . This is not a hotel it's a HMO and at 124 a night not cheap. We booked 2 rooms and the other was as bad.
The hotel was decent for the price. Rooms were clean and functional, though a bit dated. Staff were polite and helpful, and the location was convenient for getting around. Not luxurious, but fine if you're looking for a budget-friendly stay without major frills.
I had a booking for this “hotel” for 1 night as I had a concert booked at Wythenshawe Park. I received a message from the owner at 1am at morning telling me that my reservation had been cancelled as they had “overbooked” which is very unprofessional. I therefore lost money on the train tickets I had bought and also missed out on the concert. Almost glad I didn’t end up staying as some of the reviews on booking.com from that night lead me to believe it’s an awful hotel anyway! Definitely booking with a well established hotel next time!
