Feckin love this place!! Can literally turn up after work in whatever and nobody bats an eyelid all are accepted, and some amazing outfits to be seen especially on themed nights. Been with friends and been solo and always got talking to folk whilst there, usually a friendly bunch. 2 rooms with slightly different vibes but good place to ser free the inner rage 😁 2 bars and great DJ area, sometimes live music/bands and can chill near the forbidden tree also if you need a moment to catch your breath.
Wouldn't let one of our group because he was wearing joggers. I kid you not. That was the reason we weren't let in by the power tripping bouncer on the door. Meanwhile every alternate dress code was allowed in but they draw a hard line at joggers. Unbelievable. Had no issues going out to any other venue. Bouncer was just being a runt.
I had a great night here last week. Everyone was really friendly from the staff to the other customers. The drinks were reasonably priced and the music was great. There was a really nice, community atmosphere you only really find in rock clubs. The venue itself is pretty unique. Even the bouncer who chucked me out was an absolute gentleman (my fault he'd warned me an hour prior moshing isn't allowed). Assuming I'm not barred, I'd absolutely go back. 10/10
