Recently went there with my friends and boyfriend as it was the cheapest too book at the time of visiting for an event, despite the negative reviews this place is actually quite clean. They were fine with our 1am check in and when we rung the bell they answered straight away. All the rooms have locks on them and you are given 2 key cards. You pay £1 deposit when you get there for damages, it’s newly renovated and the beds were comfy, white, clean. No mould. New light fixings. Looks nothing like the photos on here now so if you need somewhere to stay I recommend this place, staff are very polite and friendly. Love the marble flooring as you walk in through to reception also.
Probably the worst hotel experience I've been. The shower was clogged, the shower was literally filled with dirty water that we won't even know how long it has been there. The toilet was literally a swing as it can be moved left and right. Immediately after you enter the hotel, a smell of toilet hit you straight away. And the smell doesn't go away even when you enter the room. The receptionist help us to change our room which is a good thing to happen. Plz avoid this hotel at all cost unless you want to experienced something like this.
Booked a room for the Halloween weekend, had a wonderful experience, was greeted very politely by the receptionist who made me feel very welcomed, after reading the reviews I wasn’t really looking forward to my stay however on arrival I was shocked at how good of a level of service I received and how clean and tidy the rooms were, it was like I was walking into a brand new hotel. I was told by new staff members that the hotel is under new management hence the change in standards. I was very pleased with my stay and would recommend all my friend and family to also stay at this hotel when visiting Manchester as it’s one of the nicest budget hotels I’ve ever stayed at.
