I recently ordered from Evergreen and I was absolutely impressed! The food is fresh and packed with flavor. Perfect portions and every dish was cooked to perfection! I definitely recommend the chili ribs and prawn toast. The service was also fantastic — friendly staff and great recommendations! This has definitely become my go to spot for Chinese food. Highly recommend giving them a try
For me this is the best Chinese in Manchester. Even when I’ve ordered a few random things nothing has been bad. It’s nice that the family that run it are proper Chinese mancunians too. Top place with top food. Better than the city centre hype.
This does not even deserve one star. My sister ordered a takeaway for 4 of us today. The order was chicken chowmein, chicken fried rice, 2 salt and pepper chips and curry sauce. On arrival the chow mein noodles were plain and dry (like a super noodles) the sauce was in a separate container, the chicken fried rice was dry and tasteless. We called regarding the chow mein and were told we have to mix it together ourselves, the chicken in the sauce was undercooked. We explained this to the woman on the phone (elaine) she was making excuses but stated she would refund the chow mein dish as it was of poor quality. She then preceded to obtain account details and called back twice to confirm the details. Shortly after she called back a third time, stating she was not going to give a refund as her manager had refused this. She refused to acknowledge that she had originally agreed to a refund, when we explained this was not professional, she was disrespectful and rude and preceded to raise her voice saying they were a 5 star establishment and didn't care what we thought. Everything else aside the chicken was undercooked!! We could not eat most of the food as it was not cooked properly and tasteless. The chips and curry sauce were fine. The customer service was the worst I have ever experienced. Disgusting and totally unprofessional. You can't acknowledge something, agree to refund a dish then take it back. Will never ever go back here again. The money was not even the issue here, it was the unprofessional and rude customer service.
