I would just like to say .. i came in to the fish bar last night for tea the food was lovely as always but also wanted to say I lost £30 from my pocket and today on the off chance I rang just to see if I did drop it in the shop. They confirmed this was found and I have now collected this. How lovely honest of them and I very grateful thank you 😊
I recently visited this chippy and unfortunately had a very poor experience. The staff were inattentive and dismissive when taking my order. Despite clearly stating what I wanted, the order I received was incorrect. When I politely raised the issue, I was met with indifference and no offer to correct the mistake—just a helpless shrug. Customer service is just as important as the food, and in this case, both were disappointing. I would strongly encourage the management to retrain staff on basic communication and service standards, as this kind of experience puts people off returning.
