Customer Reviews
Stopped at the Travelodge nearby for a week and found this little store surprisingly helpful. The range of products given the size of the store is very impressive. They have pretty much everything - including NA beer and scissors (don't ask). I'm back next week so I'll be dropping by again for snacks.
Shame it’s one of the very few super markets in the area. It is too small and feels soulless, dirty, and sketchy. Also, shockingly overpriced and without many options. The interaction with 1 cashier was ok, the other one was rude and hardly willing to do the minimum of their job. I asked for a specific brand and taste of ecig, after 10 times of repeating myself he said he doesn’t smoke to know the brand and asked me rudely to point exactly where they are- as if I am the one selling them to know. (They were exactly in front of him - just couldn’t bother to read). I don’t wear baby pads but if it was my job to sell them i would
Been coming to this tesco for years since i moved close by but one of the security guards is so rude. I’m autistic and wear a sunflower lanyard to help with these kind of social interactions. as soon as i approached the self checkout this guard stood close behind me. weird but okay. Then i scanned my first item and it said i had placed the wrong item in the weighing area. well he got snappy very quickly. he kept gesturing and shapely saying, ‘no put it there! no not- ugh’ and getting quickly exasperated even though this interaction had been seconds long at this point. i continued to struggle to understand what he meant and eventually he groaned as said ‘ugh, come on. by there!’ tapping the space next to where it’s scanned. i did notice a couple side glances from other customers so this turned out to be a very humiliating experience. eventually a woman who looked completely stressed and frazzled rushed up to help and fixed the technological issue. honestly felt bad by how terrified she seemed to look.. there’s a corner shop by dominos further down the road and staff in there are so so friendly compared to this. it feels soulless and depressing in here. anyway, rude or terrified staff surround you here so if you can deal with that, go for it.
