The venue itself is lovely with gorgeous grounds and the staff were just amazing. Georgette was brilliant to deal with and was amazing at helping us organise everything. LOVED that they also recommended different vendors as well as that was a massive help. They helped put on an amazing day and night, couldn’t thank enough!
We Booked Flixton Hoise for our daughter’s first birthday and it was the best decision we made. From start to finish, the entire team at Flixton House was outstanding. Amina Dean did an incredible job ensuring all our needs and requests were met, and we really appreciated her attention to detail throughout the planning process. When our décor and soft play provider cancelled last minute, Amina managed to arrange a ball pit within an hour! The team on shift—Wendy, Deleccia and Catherine—were absolutely amazing and went above and beyond for us. Many of our guests commented on the staff’s kindness and overall hospitality. We would definitely book Flixton House again in the future!
We booked Flixton House for our wedding at the end of July 2023. The staff, Debbie & Jo, were very helpful to show us around, discuss our plans and talk through what was possible. They helped us to create a wonderful day that was well organised and ran perfectly. It's important to know that as a building of local historic interest owned by the council, there are some things that make it different to other places you might choose. The maximum capacity for you and your guests for an event is 100 people. That worked for us for the ceremony but meant we held a separate party elsewhere: the gardens are a public space so there is no option to have a marquee or gazebo to extend the space for guests. Flixton House has its own suppliers for food and drink. The drinks packages are very reasonable and if you have any specific requests, the team will happily source what you are after, again, at a very good price. Their caterers are C&C and can offer you traditional menus for sit down meals as well as plenty of little extras to fit around a party. All our guests commented on how delicious, fresh and hot the food was. Flixton House works as a beautiful blank canvass: you can dress the rooms as you like, bring in your own florists, photographer, DJ, entertainment etc. and the staff will help draw up a plan to work with your suppliers and order the day. We would absolutely recommend Flixton House and their team for parties and weddings. We received a really personal welcome and service from the first look-around right through to the day itself.
