A rock-themed bar with a focus on live music and events, this spot features a mix of classic tunes and modern bands. It serves a range of drinks, including cocktails and lager, alongside food options like prawn and seafood platters. The venue hosts themed nights, such as rock and roll bingo, and occasionally provides space for private events. Neon signs and a laid-back setup contribute to its character. From time to time, there are deals on events and drinks, adding to its appeal for casual visits.

I had a Uni reunion on Saturday in the upstairs room at Jimmy's. It was the perfect spot. We were quite a small group, so not sure of capacity, but we had loads of space. We used our own Spotify playlist and also had a friend do DJ set...speakers and sound were great and we all had a good dance. The bar team were brilliant, and we had separate bar upstairs. We had food from the resident food providers in Jimmy's kitchen, which was Wholesome Junkies. The food team were very flexible on timings. The only slight downside were that Wholesome Junkies are fully Vegan. Am a veggie myself, so no real issues, but felt that was a bit limiting for a party. However the Vegan food was very good, and I understand the resident company in the kitchen will change at end Jan as part of normal procedures. I would highly recommend Jimmy's for a private party.

We visit very often. Great prawn platter, great seafood platter. I have not really tried the meat here so I cannot comment. Service is great, very attentive and friendly. Food arrives rather quickly. The only downside is that your clothes might smell like fish because the ventilation is not great

After an Indian Affair Shaslic fancied a Guinness. Our first ever visit here. Oddly we are 50 years older than the target clientel but the music was also 50 years old! I was surprised how much I enjoyed this bar. Quiet on our afternoon visit. Enjoyed my pint. Good cider for Shaslic.
