Broadway Park Playing Field is a green space in Urmston primarily used for football, with a marked pitch that sees regular activity. The field is surrounded by open grass areas and wooded sections, making it a spot for dog walking. Outside the gated play area, there is a tyre swing, a zip line, and a basketball pitch, alongside a small playground with equipment including a climbing frame and slide. The space is known locally as a place for casual recreation and outdoor exercise.

If you want a quiet place to walk or exercise then best liaise with the local football locusts to make sure they aren't on the field. As someone already mentioned the field is showing signs of wear thanks to the constant football matches played. Also be careful on Broadway when they play as they park on the grass verges despite the council signs prohibiting parking on the grass.
Great park. Play area, though small, has a good variety of equipment to play on , including a super climbing frame with slide. Outside the gated play area there is a tyre swing and zip line on the grass and basket ball pitch near by. In adjacent field there are a number of football pitches. Also very popular with dog owners/walkers.
Used to be a great field until footballers have taken over and think they own the field. Parking also an issue on Braodway thanks to all the soccer mums bringing their little cherubs.
