Absolutely shocking lack of actual staff to approve items. Stood there for a good 10/15 minutes until a staff member, still on their phone, deigned to come to the till with such an attitude its unreal. Rather go to the asda petrol station (even with their poor attitude) because at least you’re guaranteed service.
"what's up?" Well a lot actually - that was the response from a staff member when I needed help at the self service check out, it was also shouted over to me from the kiosk because they couldn't be bothered to walk 5m, they were not even serving anybody else. Another time I asked for a basket but was told they don't have any, first time I've ever been to a shop that doesn't have baskets 😂 Staff are generally AWOL, only coming out of hiding when it suits. The customer service is damn awful, they make you feel like an inconvenience which isn't very appropriate for a convenience store 😉
This Co-op operates like an honesty box, because no staff are visibly working and they fired their secuity guards. Video: when you need something age-approving. After waiting for minutes and minutes, when you approach someone for help, they ignore you. When you ask them for help, they're rude and annoyed you've interrupted their lacklustre shelf stacking. Not a kind face/ tone of voice in the place. AND this is AFTER they had their issues with members of staff and their terrible FIFO (or lack of).
