I would normally have gone to Boots opticians because of my corporate eyesight vouchers, they decided not to participate any longer and I’m glad to say I found Framed in Manchester because of this. Arranged an eye test appointment, which ran on time and was extensive, got my prescription emailed to me as well which is a nice to have. Didn’t really have the time to view frames so booked another appointment to go back and look through their range. Good to have the input of the staff when making a decision. Between us I think we got the perfect pair for me. Left my details and awaited the confirmation that they were ready. Booked a final appointment to pick them up and happy to say it wasn’t just a case of them being handed over, the fit and sit of the glasses were checked. Received the cleaning solution and cleaning cloth and left happy. Have since received a follow up call from Framed just to check everything is good. It’ll be 2 years before I need to go back but I know with the service and expertise they have they will still be around to sort me out then. Not sure how many staff they have, but the three I have interacted with were all superb.
I’ve been a customer at Framed for more than 15 years now and, until now, have never felt compelled to write a review. That is despite the unfailing excellence of service, reliable, friendly and knowledgeable service. However, a recent routine eye test highlighted an issue which turned out to be quite serious. The skill of the optometrist at Framed underlined the need for speed which, quite literally, helped save the sight of an eye. It was typical of the understated professionalism which I had become accustomed to and is why I have no hesitation in recommending Framed to anyone looking for a wonderful optician in Manchester or the surrounding area.
I’m always a bit tense during eye tests, but the staff here are professional, friendly, and inclusive, making the whole experience enjoyable. Highly recommended! Kenji, Amran, Richard, Antoni, and the rest of the team are absolute stars!
