What an amazing experience yet again, I'm a returning customer and really can't quite imagine going anywhere else for my glasses. A visit to Jones & Co really is such a treat. The service is so personable that it feels like you're going to see your old friends. I visited recently "just to have a look" at the full Masunaga range which was in store for a couple of days. Jess selected a fantastic range for me, and of course, the first pair picked were the ones for me. I also had my eyes tested by Pri, she is just wonderful. So very patient when I'm asking to repeat the tests as I'm not sure. I collected my glasses just before Christmas and what a gift they were, another magnificent piece of eyewear which make me feel so good. Expertly fitted by Gareth. As a returning customer (last went 10 years ago), I had forgotten just how much you receive such an individual service at Jones And Co. I was still on their monthly newsletter (highly entertaining) mailing list and was prompted last month to use their new on line booking system to book an appointment. Very impressed, as my booking was immediately followed up with a text message, then a personal telephone call. It was refreshing to be asked even before I stepped inside the opticians if I had any concerns , problems etc which I needed to be addressed/investigated on my visit. Follow up appointment reminders were received. A warm welcome and refreshments were offered on arrival before my thorough examination. You feel you are listened to, not rushed or ushered out through the door, like some major high street opticians. Jones And Co’s team get to know you as a person, so your glasses can reflect your personality and lifestyle. I am delighted with my new glasses (rapp), very different from my previous pair from Jones And Co, but that’s the beauty of their ever changing stock and styles. You have so much choice, but the staff have great experience in helping you to select a frame that suits you, sometimes gently pushing the boundaries to get you out of your comfort zone but always ensuring you are completely happy with your final choice. You can not fault their after care service, it is second to none. Such attention to detail and personal touches make the whole experience from start to finish five star. I have no hesitation in recommending Jones And co, I just won’t be leaving it another 10 years before my next appointment !

Appointments are genuinely enjoyable — relaxed, unhurried, and with exceptional attention to detail. What really sets them apart is how personal the service feels: they remember details from previous visits and show real care, concern, and empathy, particularly when things aren’t going well personally, such as during illness. The frame selection is eclectic and luxurious, with so much to choose from — there’s something genuinely special for everyone.
