This is a nice restaurant with good food, however, this one of those restaurants that give you a set time to eat. Don't go too early as they do not have seats at their bar and don't know what to do with you whilst you wait. It is popular with the locals and is worth a visit. I can't comment on it's status as a hotel as we didn't stay there.
Foundry 34 is a restaurant with accommodation. The rooms are clean and have everything you would need for a short break. Breakfast was lovely. The restaurant/bar is a nice space and the food was lovely. The staff were very efficient and friendly, especially Owen who was a lovely lad. Very friendly and efficient, couldn’t do enough for us. A real asset to the owners. We were there for New Year to catch up with cousins from Liverpool - halfway for both of us as we live in Edinburgh. We really enjoyed our stay at Foundry 34.
I had an excellent stay here. The staff were very helpful and welcoming. My room was extremely comfortable and had everything I needed. I ordered food in the evening which was delivered to my room and was delicious. Can't wait to return and definitely recommend!
