I wanted to like this place but found lacking. There was a lingering damp smell, the Cumbria Dry Stout was terrible 😞 and expensive
As always, a great choice of both craft and cask ale on sale poured expertly by the friendly efficient bar staff. Who’d want to drink at home when you have a local like this even if the toilets are on the top floor. Oh to have a Fell Bar local to Lancaster 🙏🏽
Really nice cosy place for a drink, especially if you're into your ales. Visited on a Saturday around 5ish and you could see it'd soon be difficult to get a seat despite having additional room upstairs. Good selection of ales ranging from £4.50 all that way up to £10+ and also had spirit and wine options. The place is dog friendly and the bar staff were very knowledge and helpful. Were even able to provide us with some detail about other places to visit in Penrith. Would definitely recommend it and its ideally situated to go for a takeaway at Just Greek!
