Lovely cafe that we stumbled on and decided to try purely as they had hagis for lunch. All three of our meals were delicious and we're served very quickly. I would imagine the only catch would be trying to get a seat when busy!
Lovely cafe with good choice of cakes. We've all had the Greek grilled chicken with tzatziki and salad and we all liked it a lot. The cakes can be served as a mix of 4 smaller slices, so that you can try multiple ones. They were nice but some slightly too sweet for our liking. The coffee was decent taste, size and value. Dogs are allowed inside.
After a few days in the Lakes, we called into Chapter 12 for a spot of breakfast before driving home. The Full English breakfast is one of the best I've had and the prices are very reasonable. Having enjoyed the breakfast, we bought some cake to take home for later. The cakes were very old school, not like the modern trend of them being more style than substance, and were really moist and tasty. Another plus point is that the cafe is dog friendly too. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend a visit to Chapter 12 for anybody in the area.
