Called in for brunch, great selection on the menu, we had the sausage sandwich, curly sausage on a turtle roll. Which the top was shaped like a turtle shell, we had to ask as well. Never seen this type of roll before, and the breakfast roll again on a turtle roll, curly sausage, crispy bacon and a fried egg, found out afterwards I could of had a poached egg, much healthier and I prefer my eggs that way , maybe could of been told that, maybe I should of asked. Both came quickly and were filling a and delicious, the loose tea was also good, sauce was available when asked for. Dog friendly throughout, good location but just off main street, turn left at The Royal Oak and its near the Italian restaurant, they also do a full English breakfast which is on the list for our last day, give them a try
What a great find. Super dog friendly and great atmosphere. Food is smashing. I had the Cumbrian Rarebit with bacon which is one of the best things I have eaten in ages. Highly recommended.
Every item on my big breakfast was delish. Eggs perfectly cooked. Mini Cumberland sausage, bacon, etc, etc were all scrummy and the rarebit went down a treat and of course they are dog friendly. Staff were quick to take order and friendly. Even the music in background was perfect
