After lots of research we decided to give this ‘little gem’ a try after travelling 6H cross country for a weekend stay here in Keswick and The Square Orange did not disappoint! A quaint, little restaurant with cosy/lively vibes and gorgeous food, we went for tapas, Prawns, Cantabrian anchovies and vine leaves my partner opened for a pulled pork stone baked pizza! Faultless! If you’re looking for good music,good food and an all round good evening, this is the place to be in Keswick! Thank you The Square Orange!
Excellent pizza. Very interesting topping combinations - not your average pizzas. We ordered two different pizzas including the special topped with Cumbrian sausage, brie, and cranberry sauce which was even better than I'd imagined. Only minor drawback was the wait system; we were told to wait 45 minutes and they took my name. There wasn't much space to stick around so we went for a walk. Upon returning, we were told our table had gone because we left. An understandable miscommunication but we did get a bit hungry. All in all very tasty food though.
Great atmosphere, and amazing food. We had a mix of tapas which was all great. Staff clearly enjoyed their work, and made everyone feel welcome and special. Would recommend to anyone looking for something a little different when in Keswick.
