Traditional pub with a good atmosphere. Busy most of the time but the staff are friendly and cope well. Roast dinner would have been improved with a few more roast potatoes rather than mashed vegetables
Thank you bank tavern Lovely food. Proper hearty lovely meal. I has the lamb shoulder and best thing I’ve had for a long time anywhere. My wife the pork belly special and that was fabbo. Great service and pub atmosphere
Always pop in for food when we visit Keswick. Great pub lovely food, most of the staff with the exception of one youngish lady are fab and always pleasant and welcoming (been coming here for 20+ yrs) the young lady is rude and unwelcoming slams you cutlery and condiments on the table no interaction at all. This time I wasted half a drink as when she cleared the table she dipped her sleeve into it with no apology or probably awareness! Total lack of service etiquette from her this time and last few times we have visited! She is letting the team down on service.
