Known for flexible hire services and smooth rental processes, it’s a practical choice for tackling local trails like the Borrowdale Bash or routes to Thirlmere along disused railway lines. Easy experience from start to finish. We hired from e-venture as they were a lot cheaper than winlatter bike hire, we cycled from Keswick to winlatter, did the blue run 3 times, and still returned with 2 bars of battery. Would definitely hire again.

Wonderful place, we always rent bicycles at this shop. Last time my bike was upgraded free of charge as my seat didn't go as low on the first one. Not a big issue but they truly care about your experience! Wonderful people, amazing bikes and what an incredible place to ride around there.

Fantastic half-day cycle from Keswick to Thirlmere via the disused railway line. The touring bikes worked perfectly - we were happy to have an extra boost from time to time! The renting process was fast and efficient. Khem gave some great advice that saved us from doing a less attractive (and busier) route. I was able to download a gpx file with a more suitable route onto my both watch and phone (via Kamoot), which made navigation a breeze. Thanks to both Khem and his colleague for the bikes and solid advice.
