The rooms are spotless and everything feels fresh and well-maintained. The bed is very comfortable, the heating works perfectly, and the shower pressure is excellent. The self-service check-in is also very convenient. The only issue is that there’s no mini fridge, the hair drier leaves a lot to be desired and a little table with a couple of chairs would be nice so you don’t feel so boxed in.
This is a wonderful boutique, self service, hotel in Cockermouth. Hosts were so helpful - arranging free parking nearby. Perfectly located near shops, pubs and restaurants in Cockermouth and a good base for touring the lakes. Immaculately clean and so comfortable. Beautiful old house. Bathroom and shower excellent. Highly recommend this hotel.
We experienced a fabulous weekend away and thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Tithe Barn. The room was a very comfortable environment and what a lovely location. Thank you for a lovely stay, we will be coming again!
